Designer Lexie Barnes has introduced her new line of women's Macbook & Macbook Pro bags for 2007. We recently received a sample of the 'Echo 13' in the Viona pattern. Our first impressions are very good. Well crafted, bold prints, and portable are the adjectives that immediately came to our mind. The bag has a slim form factor, with an external pocket for your power supply & accessories, and a rear slip pocket that will fit your folders & magazines. To provide protection for your computer, the have a closed cell foam padding, which provides a fair amount of protection against damage.

The bags appear to be a rich textured fabric, until you pick it up, and you experience an altogether different feel. The actual fabric is a water-resistant laminated cotton canvas. Ostensibly this should make cleaning them a breeze.
